and the motorcycle on the right is a BSA Gold Star.

 

 

#79 Buddy Elmore on the front straightaway at Winfield

 

 

Lining up on the front straightaway for one of the races.  That is Sam Satterley looking

at the camera.  His motorcycle is the #72 being pushed at right.  The #85m is that of

Monty Barrett.  Rider #33 is Terry Deatherage and rider #21 is Robert Winters.

 

 

Ken Pressgrove of Topeka, Kansas made a clean sweep winning the third Novice Elimination, the first Novice heat race, and the Novice final.

Buddy Elmore of El Paso, Texas was fourth fastest in the Expert time trials.  He then won the second Expert heat race and finished third in the Expert final.
