*The Continental-Beacon automobile was advertised as America’s lowest priced full-sized car with prices beginning at $355.  It was manufactured in 1933 and 1934 by the same company that built the DeVaux automobile after they stopped building cars under the DeVaux name in 1932.  The Continental-Beacon came equipped with a 4-cylinder, 143 cubic inch engine although a 6-cylinder engine was also available.
