Bud Hemphill in a Ford V8-60 in 1949.  Although this photo was taken at Tulsa, Hemphill did very well in this ride at Olympic Stadium in Kansas City that year.  The car was owned by Lee McDonald of Chickasha, Oklahoma and maintained by Hemphill.

Chick Chicaletto is behind the wheel of the #2.  Driving the #5 is Gerald “Curley” Harman and Jimmy Hicks is driver of the #10 Ford owned by Ray Cates.
