Bob Salem of Oberlin, Kansas raced each of the cars on this web page at Oakley, Kansas although the photo above was actually taken at Larned, Kansas in 1958.  By the time Salem raced this car at Oakley in 1960, it was painted bright red and renumbered “22” – Bob Salem collection

Bob Salem drove this car in 1964.  The #98 in the background at right was driven by Don Spreier and the #10 parked next to Spreier’s car was a Cobra Ford driven by Leland Salmans – Duane Burnes photo for the Roger Burnett collection
