George Armstrong ran over the right rear tire of #55 Roy Bryant with his left front tire and started flipping wildly down the front straightaway.

 

 

 

Other cars came along and, not being able to see the wreckage through the dust, piled into Armstrong's wrecked machine.

 

 

 

#91 was driven by Jerry Soderberg while the car at the very bottom of this photo was the #07 driven by Buck Cadwell.
