Max Kelton Madison, Sr.
1923 - 1967
Max, a former driver and racetrack official, played Peanuts the Clown at racetracks around Kansas for many years entertaining the crowd between races. He died of accidental asphyxiation and is buried in the Maple Grove cemetery in Dodge City, Kansas McCoy collection
* Richard M. Dick Hendershot (1925-1976) was fatally injured in a racing accident at Salina, Kansas.
