Jacobs’ car rolled over landing in the middle of the racetrack.
Nichols rolled his car onto a pile of mud in the infield.
Cokeley collected $70 from the purse for his 4th place finish in this race.
Cars driven by Burke and Sutton crashed out through the fence together coming to rest wedged against another fence some 50 feet outside the racetrack fence.

Copeland’s car lost a right front wheel which bounced high into the air before jumping the fence at the south end of the racetrack and smashing into a brand new Cadillac.
#99 Harold Leep of Wichita, #101 Bob Eichor of Oklahoma City, and #24 Jay Woodside of Kansas City, Missouri also competed in these races but none of them placed in the prize money.
