1 Elmer Ray “Rabbit” Musick (1918-1962) was driving an Offenhauser powered #2 car owned by Peaches Campbell of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

 

2 Wallace “Wally” Stokes  (1913-1949)

 

3 Elwin Ezra “Al” Ketter (1908-1949) was fatally injured in a racing accident at Macomb, Illinois.

 

4 Harry King, Bill Anderson, and Bob Sledge all qualified two cars each for these races.  Bill Anderson was William Terry “Wild Bill” Anderson (1917-1950) was fatally injured in a race at the Mitchell Speedroam in Mitchell, Indiana when he became the third driver to loose his life in the former Gus Schrader Offy.

 

5 William Ben “Red” Hodges (1907-1996) was driving an Offenhauser powered #1 car owned by Peaches Campbell of Tulsa, Oklahoma.  This car was the former Hank O’Day Offy.

 

6 Engelbert H. “Bert” Hellmueller, Jr. (1906-1985) listed his home as a number of different places but his family home was in Louisville, Kentucky and that is where he retired to.
