Coleman led the first lap and Lutkie the second before Coleman reasserted himself to the lead which he never relinquished again..

Nelson and Ungar collided in the southeast curve.

Leep and Cattrell locked wheels and slid into the fence in the northwest curve.

Rigsby took the northwest turn too wide and stuck “a piling” breaking his car’s rear-end loose and sending it scraping along the concrete wall in front of the grandstand.

Chapman did a long slow spin out in the northeast.  His car then slid backward for another 100 feet but was not struck by any other car.

This race paid price money 14 places back with 7th place receiving $27.50, 8th $22.50, 9th $20.00, 10th $16.00, 11th $14.00, 12th $12.50, 13th $9.50, and 14th $8.00.
