Front Page:
The track was probably in the worst condition of any race which has been staged on the state fair grounds and the time consequently the lowest record made. Only four automobiles entered and they ploughed through deep mud to make the distance. It was announced that all cars which could possibly pass inspection according to IMCA rules were urged to enter the races. The rest of the automobile racing will be staged on Friday afternoon.
