George Hensley of Wichita, Kansas in the “Wee #85” Crosley track hot rod competed against the full sized hot rods.  Here, he was involved in a skirmish with a car driven by Leroy Beard of Tyler, Kansas at Cejay Stadium in Wichita, Kansas in 1949.

These men were playing a prank on George Hensley by picking up his Crosley track hot rod and carrying it off of the racetrack during a break in the action at Cejay Stadium in Wichita, Kansas in 1949.  The tall man at the back of the line of six of the carriers in the center of this photo, is Frank Lies.  Please contact Bob Lawrence if you can identify any of the other men in this photo – Jim Edwards photos
