The car in second place in this photo is a 1932 Ford coupe #7 driven by Warren Brown.  The racetrack is uniknown c1951 Warren Brownl collection

 

This photo was taken during a novelty race at CeJay Stadium in Wichita, Kansas in 1949.  One of the drivers putting their shoes on is Frank Lies but it has yet to be determined which one he is Lies collection

  

Bub McHenry is shown here in a #45 jalopy that did not even have doors not to mention any roll bars.  The #606 in the background at left was driven by Norman Rush Cejay Stadium, Wichita, Kansas September, 1949 Lies collection

  

This Ford coupe was owned by Oren Hamilton and raced very successfully early in 1952 by Frank Lies.  Around mid-season that year, Hamilton sold the car to Joe Collins of Winfield, Kansas.  Collins had the car painted yellow over navy blue and the number changed to #4.  Over the next few years, the car continued to be a winner for Collins with drivers Charlie Lutkie, Bud Webster, and Bill Mears Lies collection
