Mike Sherman of Tulsa, Oklahoma is shown here in front of Curley Sutton’s Indian Matchless motorcycle dealership in Tulsa on the Matchless G-50 he rode in the AMA sanctioned 3-star motorcycle races at Winfield, Kansas on May 12, 1963.  He set fourth quickest time in the Amateur class time trials that day and then won his heat before finishing third in the Amateur final.
