Pat Cunningham in a car he drove for Leonard Kerbs
of Otis, Kansas.
The
engine in this car had cups over the valves, a Wills St. Claire crankshaft,
Jahns pistons, tubular rods, and a pair of Winfield carburetors. The
frame was "T" rails, with truss rods, and plenty of chrome.
Both the car and transporter (truck in the background) were painted yellow
with black lettering. Pat raced at the Bo Stearns Speedway north of Wichita, Kansas from 1930 through 1935 and at Winfield, Kansas at least in 1934 and 1935. Click your mouse

Pat Cunningham in the B&B Special supercharged
Frontenac in which he won the feature at Arkansas City Speedway a.k.a. West
Madison Avenue Speedway west of Arkansas City, Kansas on July 4, 1930. The car had been built by Leonard
Kerbs of Otis, Kansas and was owned by C. O.
Bennett and Eddie Burbac.
