#4 Helm Hisso

Harold “Pete” Alberts (a.k.a. “Pietro Alberti” and “Phillipe Lecitir”) of St. Louis, Missouri is shown here in the Helm Hisso in 1939.  Al Schutt and Tom Munton had “Pop” Dwyer install the Hisso engine in this ex-Everett Saylor Dwyer chasis they had purchased from Dwyer for $250.  Schutt and Munton then sold the car to Ralph “Speedy” Helm.  Alberts would lose his life in the Tersinor Hisso later that same year on a dusty county fairgrounds racetrack at Mt.
