John Tersinor wrecked the car in a race at Mexico, Missouri in 1937 and spent nearly two years making repairs.  The car returned to competition in 1939 only to have driver Pete Alberts loose his life in it while competing it in a race at Mt. Vernon, Illinois.  The car had been reapinted gray by then and was carrying the #0 - Tersinor collection
