Leonard W. “Buzz” Mendenhall

1903 – 1938

Buzz Mendenhall received fatal injuries when he rolled the #8 Moore Hisso three times in this crash on June 5, 1938 at Hammond, Indiana.  He was 35 years old.

With both lungs punctured and his skull fractured, Mendenhall passed away en route to a hospital
