#80 Apple Valley Machine Special

Bill Hart in the #80 Apple Valley Machine Special Hisso at Ascot Speedway in California – Wilson photo

These three photos are the only known pictures to exist of the #80 Apple Valley Machine Special Hisso.  The bottom two pictures were taken right after Bill Hart had wrecked the car in the north turn at Ascot Speedway in California in 1932.  That is car owner Paul Fromm standing at left in the picture below and that is believed to be Francis Hart standing next to him.  Bill Hart was uninjured in the crash – The bottom two photos are ewspaper photos in the Johnny Klann collection
