Morris Wilbur “Red” Pennington

1921 – 2008

This photo of Red Pennington in his Ford hot rod was taken on May 15, 1948 at Cejay Stadium in Wichita, Kansas.  The engine was a 292 cubic inch V-12 flathead from a 1941 Lincoln.  The car was sponsored by Carl Labouff whose Western Service Body shop constantly worked to keep the car looking sharp.
